Weighted average bond yield constituted 19.7%. Local investment funds, insurance companies, as well as non-resident funds were the buyers.
«For us the creation of company being transparent and comprehensible to the investors is one of our priorities, which to my mind helped us for more than 2 years become the first company that succeeded in realizing the market placement of UAH bonds,» said Oleh Cherniakhovskyi, Financial Director of PJSC Concern Khlibprom. «This project was attractive for us for several reasons. Firstly, the Company increased the investor base it is working with. Secondly, Khlibprom managed to raise funds to replenish the working capital just during the new harvesting and in such a manner gained an offing to purchase grain now at the attractive prices. The Company can store this grain by means of its own capacities and then use it in the production process. Thirdly, such placement helped Khlibprom reduce the cost of the existing loan portfolio because the part of the costs was used to repay the loans.
The Company intents to use the borrowed funds to: replenish the circulating capital and reserve of grain (UAH 10mln.), make the project of the frozen semi-finished bakery goods production work with the planned capacity (UAH 5mln.), refund the Companys existing loans on more favorable conditions (UAH 35mln.).
«At the end of July, when we were finishing placement we had bids within our range of profitability (1822%) to the amount of over UAH 95mln. It means that we were not even able to meet the demand existing for the purchase of these bonds,» commented Andrii Herus, Director of Consulting Department of Concorde Capital IC.
According to
Ihor Mazepa, Director General of
Concorde Capital IC, upon the completion of this project one can expressly state the market of UAH bonds is open again for good issuers. However, it is important to understand that issuers have to be of exclusively high level, high quality. One will be able to work with such issuers even today.
